The Alpha Omega Chapter sponsors youth auxiliary groups: Rosebuds, Phi-Teens and Cavaliers. The chapter works with these groups to encourage, assist, and train youth in the educational, refinement and cultural processes through specific programs and activities. These programs and activities are educational and recreational in nature which involve the youth in hands-on projects which enhance self-esteem and self-discovery. Moreover, the Alpha Omega Chapter provides enrichment and assistance in all fields of endeavors.
Each year in January, the Alpha Omega Chapter honors the youth auxiliaries on Dr. Luthermae E. Adams Day. In addition, the youth auxiliaries are able to showcase their talents and accomplishments at the annual Artist of Tomorrow in June.
If you are interested in our youth auxiliaries, please feel free to contact Yolanda McCall-King at whymccll@sbcglobal.net for Rosebuds (grades 5 - 8) or Nicole Gillespie at nikkigill@hotmail.com for Phi-Teens (grades 9 - college sophomore).
